The first thing that struck me visually when inverting this site title in the footer was the logo to Vision On.

For those of you not raised on 1970s British TV, Vision On was a children's programme aimed primarily at the deaf and hard of hearing, but became a staple of all children's viewing. It was inclusive before the term was invented. There was an emphasis on the visual - from Morph the clay animated man to the gallery where viewer's pictures were displayed every week - including the logo.

The logo started as the words 'Vision On', then mirrored itself and stood on its end so it looked like a grasshopper made of words. It worked really well. My mirrored 'Spiffin' less so.
